Toon Goggles Launches TG EVO, Adding Radio and Tween News to Growing Kids’ Service
Los Angeles, CA June 13, 2014
Kids’ entertainment destination Toon GogglesTM evolves beyond cartoons and games with the launch of TG EVO, a kid-friendly music service and news content made for tweens. Tune Goggles Radio (TG Radio) gives kids access to over 8 million songs from popular artists and movie soundtracks.
“TG EVO puts us in position to take over the children’s entertainment market by offering what other streaming video apps don’t have: radio, news, and games,” said James Cahall, Chief Technology Officer of Toon Goggles. “We want to give kids and parents a virtual playground where they can enjoy any entertainment they want safely and without compromise.”
The redesigned Toon Goggles application will be released with TG EVO’s TG Radio and “TG AE” and “News” sections, with special news clips for the tween audience. TG Radio launches as a separate subscription service within the app so that kids can customize their own listening experience.
TG Radio features songs from Taylor Swift, One Direction, Disney movies, etc. Colorful icons make it easy for kids to find their favorite music, and new parental controls can limit radio stations meant for older children. Also included in this update is TG Collections, which categorizes shows and games based on a common theme into one playlist.
